The Fitness & Recreation Committee was formed in January 2010. The committee met at least once per month during the fiscal year May 2010 through April 2011.
The goal of the committee was to promote a healthy lifestyle in Canyon Lake, and progress toward this goal was made by holding three health and wellness events: the Fit Community run/walk event in January 2011, the Tour de Canyon Lake bike ride in March 2011 and the Paddle & Pedal Regatta in August, 2011.
