Dexter Recap: Feeling a Little Horse
, The big reveal of Travis and the Prof’s macabre arts-and-crafts project stole the show. PETA disclaimer: no animals bearing Horsemen of the Apocalypse were harmed in the making of this episode. I think. This season’s ongoing religious motifs weren’t quite as heavy-handed last night, save for that ending. But while this week’s title is “Smokey and the Bandit,” it could have been “Back to the Future,” given all of the setups for what still lies ahead. The Lieutenant Debra Morgan era begins with some intense power plays, as LaGuerta and Quinn align against Deb and Angel. I don’t think any fans will be making “Team Maria” T-shirts. Remember when LaGuerta was sort of likable, back when she was sneaking around with Angel, career consequences be damned? Now she’s returned to season one form — self-preservationist schemer and manipulator. Anyone else waiting for Deb to lose her cool and cold-cock Diva LaG one of these days? Maybe that’s the endgame for Deb’s inevitable demotion.
Local author nominated for Pulitzer Prize
From the jungles of Vietnam to the mountains of Colorado, he has used his skills to track numerous people, as well as animals.
To learn more, best selling author Don Bendell has detailed several experiences in his latest book, "Tracks of Hope, A Memoir," including the search for Canon City resident Troy Tilley in April 1998, the infamous cop killers near Cortez, Bendell's son's stalker and more.
For his efforts, the publisher nominated Bendell for the Pulitzer Prize for this book.
"I feel so honored that they would nominate me," he said. "I've spent years on it because it was hard for me to write. I needed some endings on some stories like the Troy Tilley search. I've got an ending for the Troy Tilley search and it's in the back of the book."
The Tilley saga began when Troy's wife traveled to Greeley for a job interview, Troy decided to take advantage of the 80 degree temperature and go on a hike with 27-year-old Troy Tilley, his stepson, 11-year-old Drew Naylor and Drew's best friend, 10-year-old Josef Lippincott to Tanner Trail, which is located south of Canon City.

As well as other non-starters like Dead Horse, the Garden and Bad Apples - All B-side material at best. Don't Damn Me is one of the better rockers on '1' but sounds like a Slash 'n' Axl, not GN'R - the swing of Adler and the 'roll' of Stradlin' is gone
He spoke with The Sports Section about his T-shirt business, his decision not to return, and the art of heckling. For people who haven't been following along, explain why you don't plan on returning to the bleachers next year?
