Most pre-order incentives these days are pretty similar to one another. An "exclusive" in-game item (that usually goes downloadable pretty fast), a little collectible, etc.
But we like this idea better. A reader has pointed us in the direction of Best Buy, which is offering quite the appealing bonus for those who pre-order Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and we have to say, you gotta appreciate the effort.
If you put your deposit down at Best Buy, you'll actually be able to play Naughty Dog's masterpiece well ahead of time. You'll have to take a trip down to the store, but that's not so bad, is it? You'll also receive an exclusive Regeneration Booster, which speeds up recovery of your wounds by 70%. And as you can see in the ad right here-
"Plus, starting October 21, you can be one of the first to play an exclusive Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception level before it releases on November 1. Only at select Best Buy stores."
Well, just hope your store is one of the "select" ones. They say it's an exclusive level, by the way, but chances are, we've seen it in video footage before. All you have to do is find out ahead of time if your local Best Buy is participating, and then put down your deposit. October 21 is a good ten days before the game officially arrives on store shelves, so that's not bad.
