Starnes starts her journey at Pan Am Games
The podium is Gunning for Starnes would represent a significant rise in return for a year, when she was driving for Team Tibco. It was long fairing on a descent in the Cascade Cycling Classic in July 2010 when she crashed heavily on his hip, fracturing her pelvis in two places and had to be taken off the field.
The wound immobilizes a few weeks, but the bones heal. More worrying was a concussion, the effects persisted for months, affecting his eyesight and concentration (and oddly, breaking his habit throughout the nail biting). "It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out," Cardinals outfielder Lance Berkman said. "But I feel like we have to win the National League-style games if we're going to win this thing and tonight was a National League-style game — 3-2, good pitching, good defense, timely hitting.
